Something Nice For The Holidays

Scarf 001

  So I’ve made it a goal of mine this holiday season to do something nice for someone I don’t know.. So I had met a lady named Maria at the bank, and she really liked my green scarf Tabitha made me for Christmas last year. I asked her what her favorite color was, a poof! There you have it! She was so surprised and she liked it a lot!

I love the feeling of doing something nice for someone, and having them genuinely like what you’ve given them.

If I don’t post again before Christmas, hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas! {I’m hoping to post again before then though!}

This is really strange to be honest. In a good way. That was really nice of you! :) If more people were like this, the world would be a better place! Seriously!

ok, so I don't think it's strange...b/c someone (like you) gave me ("the lady at the bank) an unexpected gift TODAY at work... I only know this lady from Starbucks. She is a customer that comes in, oh, I would say a few times a month. She is the sweetest lady and always so happy and peppy! She has the same love for vintage/thrifting/antiquing that I do. She actually has a shop on etsy where she sells fun vintage items. Anyways...she knows I collect little santa mugs and she always told me that she would keep her eye out. Well, she came in the other day and told me about a Santa pitcher she saw at a new vintage shop in the area and that she thought of me....(long story, I know)...well, she came in today with the santa mug in a little box with a little note attached that said "Merry Vintage Christmas" :)

I was thinking about knitting her a scarf :)

Oh and by the way...is that a blanket? lol, how wide did you make her scarf! jk, It looks very nice.
