I just not to long ago finished reading the book The Last Song written by one of my many favorite authors Nicholas Sparks. Like a lot if not most of his novels this one took place in North Carolina, a state located on the Atlantic seaboard, one of the many places that if I have been there I have never really visited. {After reading all of his books it is on my to visit list!}
This story is mostly about seventeen year-old Veronica “Ronnie” Miller, and it draws you in from the very beginning. I never wanted to leave the story but at the same time it felt like part of my reality. I could relate to the stubbornness, the forgiveness and the crazy thinking of all of the characters. I won’t tell much more of this book, but just know its one that I personally loved.
Its very rare a person can find a book they can say that they love, I’ve read numerous books this year and yes while I can say at the time I really enjoyed reading them, that I would recommend reading them or that I can read them over again, The Last Song along with a lot of other Nicholas Sparks books added to my love for reading. They let you escape from the crazy things in life, the headaches, and all in all just let you imagine.
A lot of people have a hard time reading, whether they just find it boring or they just can’t see everything happening, but for me it is my creative outlet. Although I am obviously not writing the story I am drawing out every emotion, every movement, every thought just as I picture it happening.
If you want to keep up with the books I am reading I will post which ones I am reading, have read already or will be reading. Thanks for listening.
